We’ve introduced a new custom online ordering URL feature within the New Admin Panel, enabling restaurants to create their own branded food ordering links using personalized subdomains. This enhancement is designed to help businesses strengthen their brand identity, improve online visibility, and drive more organic traffic to their digital ordering platform.
With the updated Online Ordering section, customers can now generate a custom-friendly ordering URL directly from the admin panel by selecting their preferred subdomain. The system instantly checks subdomain availability in real time and displays whether the selected URL is available or already in use, making the setup process simple and user-friendly.
In addition to the subdomain, restaurants can also configure two custom keywords within the URL structure. These keywords can be updated anytime and are intended to help businesses promote signature dishes, popular menu items, cuisines, or location-based search terms. This allows restaurants to create more targeted and marketing-friendly URLs that can be shared across social media platforms, QR codes, Google organic searches, promotional campaigns, and other customer engagement channels.
Once a subdomain is created, it becomes permanently assigned to that specific customer account to maintain consistency across marketing materials, printed QR codes, and shared online links. While the keywords remain editable, subdomain changes can only be handled through the support team to avoid disruptions to existing customer-facing assets and campaigns.
The feature also includes additional visibility into connected marketing tools and integrations. Customers can access Google Tag Manager setup information directly within the same section, along with Order with Google integration status and management options. This creates a more centralized and streamlined experience for managing digital ordering branding and marketing configurations.
Overall, this update provides restaurants with a more professional, customizable, and SEO-friendly online ordering presence while helping improve discoverability, branding, and digital marketing effectiveness.
