Some businesses rely entirely on QR, online, and mobile ordering without using a POS system. In these setups, the kitchen display system (KDS) becomes the primary tool for managing orders, but manual acceptance can create delays and operational challenges - especially when both the POS and KDS run on the same device, leading to unexpected behavior.
To simplify this workflow, we’ve introduced server-level auto-acceptance for QR and online orders, ensuring orders flow directly into the KDS without requiring any manual steps.
A new setting - “Auto accept kitchen display items & orders” - is now available within both the QR order settings and Web ordering settings in the new admin panel. When enabled, the server automatically accepts all incoming QR and online orders, sending KDS-assigned items straight to the kitchen display. This update eliminates manual acceptance, reduces delays, and supports smoother operations for businesses operating in KDS-only environments.
